I really like Indie/RPG Maker Horrorgames here on steam! This one has good graphic and sound, the controles are easy and good. For my taste it's only a bit to much darkness in the roomes. I like to walk around and look at all things so sometimes it was a bit hard to orientate for me.At least I can say, it's not the best game like this on steam, but it's a good one! A horror adventure game where you play as a girl named Catherine Stockholmes who is trying to escape her father's doll factory.The game has a good story line and keep me intrigue and wanting to know more the entire time. All of the characters are well written with unique personalities, but there should be more back story for each of the side character. The multiple endings are a plus. Out of all the endings, I like the secret ending the most.In term of gameplay, the game consists of puzzles and chase sequences. Some of the puzzles are well thought out and cleverly designed while others are those standard puzzles that are similar to Pokemon game. The chase scenes are decent, nothing too frustrating for me.The horror atmosphere for the game is spot on, there are many moments that I felt scared of my surroundings. The music complements well with the atmosphere, fitting the theme of a survival horror game. Although, one thing that could be nicer to have is if there are more variety of dolls and environments.The art for this game is very beautiful, the character busts and cut scenes are well drawn, although it seems the art quality of the flashback scene doesn’t match up to the rest of the game. The implementation of the cut scene arts was interesting and that’s one of the reasons that kept me interested. That and I like unlocking artworks in the gallery.While the game has small flaws here and there, I can see that a lot of effort and love has been put into this. Overall, this is a solid game for me as there is a ton of contents for the amount of money that I paid and I’m looking forward to any title from this developer in the future.. I really wanted to like this game. So much. The concept sounded absolutely amazing. My friend and I played together since we often have these horror game nights together. We both couldn't finish it because the game feels more like a chores than a fun experience. The map was completely useless and we always ended up lost trying to find the keys and where to go next. The characters were fine, but not really lovable. I enjoyed the drawings though, and the fear of blood seemed like a good idea on paper, but it ended up extremely annoying, and just a stupid easy way to die as it was hard to see the blood on the floor. The chasing scenes were fine, but once we finally left the place and we were outside, it started to become annoying. And gosh, what annoyed me the most were the puzzles. Not bad in any ways, but it's not realistic how they are placed. Why is there a 'who drink what' puzzle in a middle of a room in a laboratory?? It just took me out of the experience. I expected more puzzles like 'find a number to open a door from the papers or dates' or 'the key is on the top shelf and can't reach it' since they make more sense where she is. It just really broke the story for me and felt like an escape room.I really wanted to love it. But I won't finish it. I have no more fun playing it, and I don't care much for the story line, which is undeveloped and cliché.. Would be fun, I imagine, if it didn't cut off the bottom third of the screen upon launch.. I'd recommend this game if you're into RPG Maker horror games, but it's quite rough around the edges in a lot of ways, especially gameplay-wise. The story is pretty good for the most part, namely the concept, and I'm a fan of the music, atmosphere, and puzzles. Not too much to complain about here, aside from some corny parts of the story, and one or two questionable puzzle solutions, but for the most part I had a good time with it. Big fan of the atmosphere, and the whole doll idea.Gameplay-wise, my biggest complaint are the randomly roaming dolls that can kill you in seconds if you get cornered, which is difficult to avoid at times due to their unpredictable and sudden movements. Another one was blood stains that are difficult to see, but it's not a huge issue. There are some other specific points with poor gameplay design, the biggest one to me being the big bear chasing you towards the end, how out of the blue it starts going faster part way through the chase, and you basically have to use speed pills. Maybe I needed runners on, but it didn't occur to me that I'd need them, and it didn't give any signal beforehand that I'd noticed that I'd need to put on the runners.Another complaint was the way it deals with resolution, I had to set my monitor to 1024x768 resolution in order for it to look good in full screen (because you don't play horror games windowed if you care about the atmosphere at all). Was overall a bit wonky and it took me a bit to figure out what to do, but after figuring out the resolution thing I had no complaints. Though I imagine people with at least 1080p monitors might complain more about this issue.If you can get past some rough parts gameplay-wise, it's certainly worth giving a shot, especially at its decent enough price. For me, the overall feel of it was worth playing, I'm a sucker for dark horror atmospheres.. Just purchased this game and i have to say, this game is DOPE! If you have 8$ to spend this game provides HOURS of enjoyment!. The atmoshphere and gameplay is very intriguing and the art work is beautiful. I like how the puzzles are hard but there are clues if you look for them. My only complaint is that the blood spots on the ground can be a little tedious to avoid all the time.
